Found killed camping in San Juan County last night.

Yesterday I parked on the street next to the park in town to make a phone call and some bro on MTB rode past and was taking video or photos of my truck lol.

Good thing all the street side patios near main were filled to capacity with people having happy hour 1 foot from eachothers face as I cruised out of town solo after not seeing anyone in 3 days.

Unfortunately this is just how it's gonna be for a long time and I understand it. No hardcore local will believe that someone from out of town has been taking the proper precautions. I guess they have to assume we have all been licking toilet seats across the USA for the last 2 months.

Tough spot to be in when your towns economy is like 90% tourism $$$.

I will be long gone before memorial day shit show happens.

This week Escalante stoke: My daughter decided to hightail it out of town and go camping. Peekaboo slot, spooky slot, Lower Calf creek falls. Great BLM camping about 5 miles from Calf creek

Great trip. Lots of wind though which definitely put a damper on some of the riding. Many trails still to re-ride or ride for the first time. If it wasn't memorial day shitshow I would have stayed another 4 days. Glad I bounced before the 10,000 cars/trucks/sprinters/giant RVs, etc all with mountain bikes and motos got to town. I saw more of that on the road yesterday and today than I ever have before I think.
