    WTB: vipec crampons

    skis are 104mm so... 110? idk how they are sized

    Basically medium and extra-large, you need the 120mm. They're also quite expensive. Crampons are probably the worst part about vipecs/tectons

    Gross is right. I got the 120’s which don’t fit my lotus 120 because it’s actually 122. I use them on a 99mm ski, it’s like baggy underwear

    +1, on the size. These do not have the flexibility of ski brakes, so sizing up is important. Another annoying thing about the vipec/tecton crampons is that it's a PITA to carry via carabiner.

    120 vipec crampons suck.

    Source: broke one sidehilling on a haute route (while attached to CD104Ls.) . But I may be bigger than you at 175# + full pack.

    bigger than me but not enough for it to trust something that broke for you on the same exact ski! I’ll close this thread now lol

    The good news is that them breaking wasn't complete catastrophic. But the attachment pins for some unknown reason end up taking come of the leverage and then bend.
