I used to ride an old sport touring frame that I put cantilever braze ons on. It was a Bertin, it had the perfect geometry for dirt roads and gravel. I rode it both single speed and fixed with 35mm Ritchie Speed Max tires and Nitto Dirt Drops. So much fun.

The new Sram B-gap adjustment gauge is a huge improvement over the old one. That was a pleasant surprise to see in the derailleur box.

A definite keeper. Those are so light. A buddy had one and now has an amp b4. He put one piece carbon wheels, one piece carbon syem/bars and a bunch of ultralight stuff with 1" slicks. Thats his townie. A ripper at that. The wheels and stem/bars were obscure no brand name chinese stuff found in catalogs at severe discount. Danger Holm level tweaking lightness he put together 15 or so years ago. Wouldnt be surprised if its under 20lbs

Fezzari Delano peak. Giving a direct to consumer rig a try. The geometry was what I was looking for, do it all quiver of one trail bike. Specs to price were amazing and only took about 5 weeks to get after I purchased!

Fukt: a very small amount of snow.
Bike’s suspension needs to be compressed to its sag point, while adjusting the b-tension.
Right, like, I get that… just thought you could do all of these things when the bike was in a stand

You can, if you let the air out if the shock and bungee the rear wheel to the seat so that it stays at the sagged height.
