I'm not smart on the bike and not that good looking at baseline so this is happening to ensure I will at least retain my teeth:

Thanks to all who chimed in on this in the Expert thread. Lots of good suggestions, the Smith fit was excellent and the 40% off codes floating around Gear Swap made it a no brainer.

First ride on it was pretty awesome. I went out to our moto legal stuff that has too much snow on it for a pedal ride and was not disappointed.
    Is that the kenevo comp?

    How do you like it?

Finally got the kiddo's new bike kitted up.

    -Reynolds Blacklabel 287 Hydra wheels
    -New Butchers F/R
    -Custom Dominion A2 brakes
-Protaper carbon bars and custom Protaper stem
    -Protaper Meathammer grips

12 years old riding dentist wheels, what a time to be alive. 30.5 lbs with pedals which is only 1 lb more than his Clash weighed. Who else has a set of brakes with their name factory-monogrammed on them? No one, that's who.

Once I convince people to start calling me Dominion A4 I'll be half as cool as DMT Jr. with my own name on my brakes!

Classy looking bike, based on how hard he sends it at I street I'd say he earned it!

You could change your name to "Deore."

Our sugar daddy sent wheels instead of suspension, I'm not complaining. I actually have a Mara Pro they gave him for his Clash that is going to get moved to this bike. It needs to have the stroke changed which requires a rebuild and Mara service kits are out of stock. When I get that shock on there I might try to get a Mezzer at cost.

It doesn't look as bad in person, but you're not wrong. The previous owner had the shifter and dropper cables cut pretty long. He was begging to ride it though, they're functional and my bike needs a bunch of work so I left those as-is for now.

Bigs ups to the local shop for having Shimano drivetrain stuff in stock. Managed to grab an XT cassette at less than retail.

I’m just giving you the TGR hard time.
But I am neurotic about cable length, bar tape, especially bar finishing tape.

One of my clients moved from a 38cm to 40cm bar and I have to re-cable whole thing (including internal brake hoses) because the cables were trimmed so tight for the 38s.

So they sent me this YouTube:

Ordered some Deity Bladerunners in bronze for my GFs new Stumpy. I just couldn’t let her get shitty pedals.

Naturally. CyclingTips' Nerd Alert guys said they tested that alignment tool against the Abbey adapter that uses a derailleur hanger alignment tool. They did not agree with each other. Talk about head explody!

I used to measure my brake lever distance (on my MTB). Then I realized that even when they measure the same, because my hands vary in strength and wrist straightness, I don't actually want them to match, just feel like they do. Furthermore, it changes all the time from uneven pad wear front/rear. And really came to appreciate the contact point adjust on Code RSCs... when the rear feels like it's biting a bit further in, 1 click adjust and it's better.

I ordered a new set of Pirelli Gravel M tires for my, wait for it, gravel bike. I bought the 45mm width because I wanted some extra cush. I did look at the Specialized website to see what tires will fit the Diverge before placing my order and was confident I was making the right choice. WRONG! They don't fit! Dammit!
