Bottom bracket help
Alright people, I have a bottom bracket question. I have a trek stache 7 that comes standard with a PF92 bottom bracket. I have an older SRAM carbon crank that I'd like to put on it (pictured) but I'm not sure what bottom bracket to use. What am I looking for? PF30?
Thanks!
Seth

PF30 is different. You need a BB92 BB, but for a 30mm spindle. Race Face, Enduro, and I'm sure some others make one.

PF92 Bottom braket is a 41 inner diameter Bottom Bracket for an 86.5mm (road) or 91.5mm (mountain) shell. This is what your bike has and you can't change that.
You're crank is 30mm diameter.
So you need a PF92 to 30mm bottom bracket. Enduro, RaceFace, Wheels Manufacturing etc all make them.

Bottom bracket help
UNLESS that crank spindle is the 95mm (measured from the load adjuster to end of splines) version. You need the wide spindle that measures 101.5mm (measured from the load adjuster to end of splines).
If your crank is the shorter version there is no way to use it on that frame.
Sorry I didn’t mention that above.Last edited by Dee Hubbs; 04-29-2020 at 12:17 AM.

I believe it had a conversion kit. I know it worked, I rode it for a while but I have no clue what the standard was b/c they change bike stuff too fast for me to keep up.
