    Kingpin M-Werks 12

What's up with the Kingpin M-Werks 12? Does this version of the Kingpin have any better reliability than the original Kingpins?

I've sold quite a good number of them without issue, including a few to guys who are notoriously hard on their gear in terms of both days used and aggression etc. Toe is from the Alpinist 9/12 which has been out for two seasons without issue and the heel design is unchanged apart from the upper being made of their carbon reinforced material to reduce weight. So on a sample of 19-20 sets they're going well.

I've also not had any issue with the regular Kingpins I've sold but I never had any within the recall batch numbers but their sales in the last two seasons have been battered by the Shift. For 20-21 Kingpin 10 & 13 will also have the Alpinist toe but without the carbon in the heel which will bring the weight down to 660g/670g so they're only 40/50g heavier than the M-Werks 12.
