so i have plenty of time
Great time to fly. Airports are empty flights are cheap. Planes clean and deserted, less disease out there than usual.

I do that flight daily at 23,000ft and sometimes much lower in our Pilatus.......

Well, we used to do it daily before Covid-19 destroyed the healthcare system.

If I would have sold my place in 2019 I could just jet up for a month.

downstream or upstream? I could probably find some lousy photos I attempted of the airstrips. You been down? hoping maybe this year if the border opens.

i guess i was trying to figure out if that was the intake into the lake, or the outflow. i thought it was the entrance, but wondered if you had a photo of the other side as well so it would make more sense to me. looked way different when we flew over.
we went down in september, obviously it was sick.

obviously no big deal so dont waste anytime digging for photos

For that aerial view the inlet is middle left and the outlet is low left.. obviously super low with the ice.. cool to see it froze up. I got to tag along on an alsec trip in '17, I can dig up some pics

Each season is unique. Depends on what you want to show your children.

I don't think 14 days in isolation is a big deal for most Alaskans. Hell, I remember being stuck in the Pipeline Inn for 13 days waiting for a storm to clear. Sucked, but it seemed normal.
