Which cheap Smart TV?
My Vizio is shitting the bed, what to try next?
Don't care much about picture quality, how fast/well it functions with internet tv is the most important feature to me. Guess i'd like it to last awhile before dying, but don't want to spend much to get that.
Currently have the dying Vizio, and a Samsung. Vizio is way faster to get connected to internet and remote is more idiot proof. Samsung is super slow to connect, and not very user friendly remote. But has better picture and let's you watch porn. For some reason porn is verboten on the Vizio.
70 inch range fits the space.

TCL. Even the 4 series is worth looking at.

I'm a Sony guy and even I say the TCL Roku TV for sure. That cheap 4 series is an absurdly good value. Adjusting the video settings can actually yield some great results too. Some good info online that show what works best for each model.

Another vote for the TCL Roku TVs. I just graduated college and a bunch of my friends lived in a house together, they had 3 55" ones in the living room (the ladies were not impressed haha). All were on pretty much on and being used all day/night everyday especially for Sunday football. No hiccups for 4 years, except that one time someone drunkingly put a wii remote through one... I have one in my apartment now. A nice feature is the ability to stream audio through your phone via an app, so I can watch movies/shows while on my loud bike trainer in headphones.

Thanks guys!
Never heard of TCL before now. Probably go through Amazon, which seems to be putting Alexa in everything.

Another vote for TCL. Solid picture and interface is very easy to use, which was a big + here.
Some good deals discussed on slickdeals link below.

Another vote for TCL. Had mine for two years now without issue. Price is insane.
