Help Me Mess With a Scammer
I got a request to bid out photography for a family reunion happening over the summer. It felt a little fishy but I couldn’t tell if it was a scam or maybe just an older person who had trouble with email.
Fast forward to today and I get this email.
“Thank you, as i said earlier i'm currently in Dubai for my treatment for the next 2 month,i couldn't paid the event planner before i traveled, please i want you to add his fee of $3500 to the invoice because he accept cash only and he needed payment to proceed on booking the event and all the decorations and more, you are to wait for the funds to cleared approved into your account before you pay him and i will be responsible for the 3.5% cc charges and a tip of $200 for your stress.i hope you can help me with that....”
So yeah, definitely a scam.
Looking to make this as entertaining for me and as infuriating as possible for John Q Scammer.
What’s the collective got? I’ll reply with the best suggestion.
