As long as you're building a team, it might as well match the front office.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Thursday will have a significant impact on the Trevor Lawrence Sweepstakes after the turmoil in the ranks on Sunday.

    Still in the lead:

#1- Jests. The worst by far in the NFL, players and coaching.
#2- Gaints. They have a real test coming up against a crumbling Philadelphia team.
#3- Viqueens. To lose consistently you need the right HC and QB. Zimmer and Cousins are gifts from the Gods.
#4- Dirty Birds and Jagmires. They won't lose this without a fight.

Broncos come off your list after a W against the Pats(ies)?
I would say the Jets are pulling ahead rather significantly with the release of LaVeon Bell. Next move: release Sam Darnold and go O-fer-the season

Some would argue that keeping Sam Darnold is the way to a winless season.

Buncos are done for. 2 wins will likely be too many in this year.

The Dolphins have a WB that’s probably better than 60 or 70% of QBs on the league right now, so why not throw in the rookie so he can get chewed up and spit out.

Fitzmagic seems to come in spurts though. Maybe the Phins analytics team figured out that he was going to be hot for 6 games this year and they wanted to pull him before he got embarrassed.

I swam in it around Labor Day, and I’ll eat the shit out of some perch and walleye from it, but if I’m gonna drink it straight, I’m gonna need a Jäger shot back to cleanse the palate.

Little known fact, that’s actually a pregame ritual down at the Muni Lot.

    What are you talking about????

The Giants have a future star QB* starting in only his second year in the league!
And the Eagles have the best**, most exciting*** QB in the NFC East!

    This is MUST WATCH TV!!!!

*unless they Trubitsky him in the T. Law Sweepstakes.
    **admittedly not a high bar
***you never know if he's gonna escape certain doom, throw 45yrds downfield, with a DT draped over him, for 6 OR while escaping certain doom, he'll hold the ball too long, fumble into the arms of a rushing DB, who picks the ball up and run it in for 6. Definitely most exciting player in the NFL...not that it's always a good thing.

Can we all agree that this man is the least exciting qb in the league?

    Boom. Enjoy.

The morning guys are funny and the guys from 10-2 are great and have really good regular guests like MLB network's (and Cleveland's own) Chris Rose.

Just don't go back to back days or you'll wake up in the middle of the night barking like a dog and screaming about Baker making the Browns Great Again.

You know what else is a good listen? Jerry Jones's weekly radio interviews on the Dallas station. Especially after a devastating loss. A gift from the football gods.

“4-2 has never felt so much like 0-6” has been my favorite today.

EWG, the callers during this last hour have been excellent.

Chuck from West Virginia's take on OBJ acting like a hilarious baby was classic.

How much cash did OBJ exactly hand out at LSU to receive this ban? I would think it's dwarfed by all the alumni money the players and their parents receive during a normal season.

I really didn't give a fuck about Tua being named the starter but now I do. Fitzpatrick is maybe the most likable guy in the league right now. He was also playing pretty damn well. I simply do not understand why you would bench a qb that has led your team to 2 straight blowouts in favor of a rookie with question marks. Even if they are trying to contend this season, why would they go with Tua over one of the most seasoned veterans and greatest journeyman of all time?
