All the credit to the Bucs defense - they absolutely abused Mahomes. Those plays where he was running backwards for his life are something I've never seen from him.
Yeah, but he’s the fastest at running backwards that I’ve ever seen.

    Impressive, really.

    FUCK!!

Talk about kicking someone in the teeth when they are on the ground bleeding.

I think running the clock down is the kinder thing to do.

Todd Bowles deserves a lot of credit. Improved Tampa's defense from 15th to 6th in one year.

Wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall of the Belichick house tonight?

BB got his 6...he's the GOAT coach.
If I told you in January 2020 that the Bills would be the AFCE Champs, the Patriots wouldn't make the playoffs, and Tom Brady would still win a Super Bowl, would you believe me?

It's a lot easier when your QB doesn't throw 30 INT's. But Yeah, Bowles is a very good coach. I thought he did a good job with the Jets horrible roster. As a Pats fan, I was psyched when they fired him and hired Gase.

He was the only chief's player on the field for most of the game.

Such a shame it wasn't a better game.

So the axiom that defenses win championships still holds true. Congrats to the Bucs and one of the best defensive schemes of the season.

    Terrible take.

Other than showing he could run better than Brady, mahomes looked like the worse QB tonight. Though I think most sane people can agree he is far more physically gifted in almost all aspects of the game than TB12 ever has been, he didn’t look it tonight due to a combination of factors (injury, drops, o-line, TB d-line, etc). The lack of injuries in TB12’s career is a factor that further decreases the likelihood that anyone ever comes close to his number of championships. Brady did what needed to be done to win the game. Simple as that. The man has always done whatever it takes to win - he put up with BB for 20 years in order to win. In football, winning almost always favours good game management over fantasy league stats (which are often eliminated by good game management). Eliminating/minimizing penalties and turnovers combined with clock management (keeping the offence on the field and defence off the field) is the name of the game in the NFL. It requires talent to accomplish all 3.

    Buc's D ftw.

Brady knows how to win. The guy is the most intelligent QB to ever manage the game. He could give two fucks about stats. There is no doubt he learned a lot from Belichick...and even Peyton. He is at the top of the pile.

So Warthog, or another FL mag gets to start next year's thread right, or do the Pats fans take that over as well?
