You are way too young to remember my avatar. Goony Birds were huge in ‘85-‘88. Two fer $5, five fer $10 was heard all over the lot at Dead shows during this era. Goony Birds were clean and packed a punch, one and done!

Just as I was coming up the first time I dropped I jumped on my Mtn bike with the first pair of cycling shoes I ever had, Nike Lavadomes. SPD pedal and cleats were still in my car, but I put on the shoes and slid them in my toeclips. I felt like a fucking superhero between the stiff soled shoe and the acid. Was laughing my ass off.
