FS: Look FKS-155 / Pivot 15 with new 115 Brakes
**SOLD*" - Catch and release, bought these from Phil for $175 awhile back and never used them.
They're in really nice shape as you can see, and the 115mm brake assemblies are brand-new. One toe has the early-style pedestal and AFD, and the other has the late-style pedestal and AFD (functionally they're exactly the same). The plastic pole tip pockets in the heel dildos are scratched up, and the toe AFD's show some use. Includes screws.
Here's the slightly weird part. Phil sold the set with one FKS-155 toe and one P18 toe. The P18 is too much spring for me, so I bought an ugly FKS-155 toe and swapped the 15-DIN spring and the window insert into the mint P18 housing. The only hitch is the lines for each DIN are painted on the housing, so you have to apply a bit of logic to set the DIN on what used to be a P18 toe (the one with the silver Sharpie on the DIN lines under the window).
Just set the FKS-155 toe to the desired DIN, measure the protrusion of the spring carrier, and then adjust the other toe (marked with the silver Sharpie over the DIN lines) to match the same measurement. Easy.
Or just count the number of screw turns from when the indicator line is at the start of the slot, and set both toes to the same number of turns.
Have a shop confirm the setting on the machine if you like.
**SOLD** - $180 net to me, with free shipping to lower 48. A nice set for a lighter guy, or a CAST conversion.Last edited by 1000-oaks; 10-03-2020 at 09:15 PM.

Lol, attention jong lowballers who don't know what these are: these aren't plastic like the Pivot 12 or 14. These are ALUMINUM toes, but with lighter lower-DIN springs than the Pivot 18. You won't break these toes.

So I guess that's a "No"?
Alright, I'll go buy new then.

^ Cool, looks perfect for you.
Save these 6-15 DIN FKS-155 / P15 bindings for the guy who wants the rigidity and durability of a metal P18 binding, but doesn't weigh enough to be able to use a 8-18 DIN P18.Last edited by 1000-oaks; 04-19-2020 at 10:12 AM.

Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Beeeom
Let me help explain a few things. Sure the gear swap deals are amazing or in your opinion this one is not. That’s fine. But you cannot price police since your a newb. You can state you support BC as you did
Now the real fact is TGR is a community of some what like minded people who share similar sports and activities. But more than that it is a community of people all over the world who help each other, provide advice and resources and I have made a lot of friendships.
If all your looking for is deals then this is not the place for you. If you want to join the community then contribute some stoke, maybe some free gear or just post and try to provide tech or other advice.
I learned early on that this community does not always agree and that’s ok. But it is a community

Yep. You offered what the new 115 brake assemblies cost by themselves, without the rest of the bindings. So you gotta count screw turns (or measure) to set both toes to the same DIN on initial setup, and then never touch them again, ever. Not a big deal, most folks here have the brainpower to handle it.
Heck, I'll set them prior to shipping, just let me know what DIN is desired.

I love it when a post in GS turns into a narrative with characters, arc and sometimes a moral.
