WTB: complete touring setup, 177-185 cm, 95-105 width
I'm looking to buy my first touring setup for next season. Preferably skis + bindings + skins, and bindings adjustable to 292 BSL. Looking for an affordable used setup (<$500).
Skis: 177 - 185 cm, 95 - 105 wide
Bindings: anything but frame bindings, slight preference towards lighter tech bindings rather than Shifts/Tectons/Kingpins
I'm an advanced skier, 5'11 160 lbs, I don't ski particularly hard or jump cliffs (yet). My resort ski is a Rustler 10 in 180 cm and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm located in SF Bay Area, and can do local pick up in the area or possibly North Lake Tahoe/Truckee after shelter in place ends.
Thanks!

Atomic Backland 95 skis (185cm), Atomic pre-cut skins, Atomic Backland bindings. Very light setup. Currently mounted for a 305mm BSL. Not sure if they would adjust down to a 292. Only used 6 times this year (all at a resort) as there wasn't enough snow in SoVT to tour this winter. Don't think these were the right skis for me. I could go $475 but would have to add shipping from 03457. I won't see these skis for a week or so but can check on how short they could go without a remount.

I have some Voile Vectors 180 (97 wide) with speed turns and new synthetic G3 skins that I could let go for $400 shipped. I think it should go down to 292, it was mounted for 304. The other mounts were tele, so you could remount if you had to.

lepistoir, don’t think those would adjust to 292 right? Also looking for a slightly wider ski since this would be my only touring ski

They are set for 314 right now but that's with the heel remounted. I moved it back. Just move heel pieces back to original holes. More fiddling than the perfect setup but less expensive than the perfect setup. Also, 88 is fine for just about anything under 8". I think if you need float, you need float. 100mm isn't a very good do-it-all width for Tahoe. I would go at least 105. Hence the Chugach. What's your boot?

Fair points. What BSL were the original heels mounted at? Boots are Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 130s.

I've got some 177 4FRNT Ravens mounted with Atomic Shifts. Paired with 26/26.5 Atomic Hawx 120s. BSL is 302. Let me know if you're intrested!

Hi, I got something that may work. K2 Wayback 104, the previous generation red ones, 179 long. Mounted with Dynafit speed radicals, would fit 292. And BD orange/nylon skins. Kit used a couple years but just in spring and all in good condition. Awesome setup, light enough but still skis like an actual pair of skis. I just have to many skis. Let me know if you want pics. Would be asking within but at the higher range of your $ spectrum, and ships for Idaho.
