    Lupo ax115

Been meaning to try some lupos and managed to pick these up for 71$ local. Has anyone tried em? Are they relatively stiff? Click image for larger version.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

I skied a pair of these for 2 seasons mostly in-bounds. They’re fine “most” of the time but they struggle to drive big skis in deep snow. Skiing @ Whistler last year (18/19 season) in waist deep snow on my ON3P Cease & Desists I managed to push them too far and it felt like they were folding under me. Switched to a 4-buckle boot (Salomon S/Pro) this year and have been really happy (for the 14-days I managed to get in before COVID). Still have the AX115’s for sidecountry and occasional BC laps w/ my neighbor. I just don’t use them on big/wide powder skis any more.

Sounds about right. I’m 190 and have only really been in a few boots none too flimsy so far. I’m currently in the dynafit beast carbon or khion whatever it’s called and that boot is fucking STIFF. Thanks for the input

I had the 115's. At 190, skiing mostly hardback, I was folding them with the stock liners. I put some Intuitions in there, and that did help, but the next season I was in the Factory (130), and now I'm in the Pro HD. Really happy with those. I don't tour however.

Can’t you get a stiffer tongue for these?
