Yep, my folks say they hear it in ATL, and our neighborhood is still going off. 1/2 people and 1/2 dogs.

A friend of mine had an experience like that - she was pissed because her twenty something son was home

Mind if I ask where? I haven't heard anything like this and I'm generally out back drinking by 8 at night.

I don't know what would be worse. Being a 20 something son and hearing your Mom get some strange, or being said Mom and knowing that he knows.

    May-Retta near the square.
I'm sure it is pretty localized there as everywhere.

Which begs another question: how old do you think the average kid is before they recognize the sound of their single parent getting some? Asking for a friend.

Damn, you spelled May-Retta right; nice! I've got a colleague from work that lives right there, I'll have to ask her if she's partaking.

Some asshole down here in Buckhead has been setting off huge firework mortars at about 9pm for the past few nights. Just one or two but man they're loud. Gets every dog in a 5 mile radius going nuts, which is awesome for when you just got the kid to finally go to sleep.

I grew up way down yonder on the Chattahoochee. OK, not really, more like East Cobb.

Yeah, some neighbors made a plea for the fireworks to stop in our hood and it seemed to have worked. Small neighborhood though.

Nice, your neighbors seem to be a little more considerate that whoever this asshole is.

Step 1: Have Sam Jackson call the boy.

Step 2: Go all Liam Neeson from Taken on neighborhood firework clown.

Goddam fireworks clown. I'll be sure to take care of him. When I am done pissing off your local Karen by showing up with [way] out of state plates and 'feeding the ducks' down at the local pond.
