cut the end off a thick sock?

    wear a thicker sock?

add padding on your foot, just where you need it?

Did you check Intuition's site? Last time I looked (a couple of years) they had them for a reasonable price.

cut up pieces of corrugated cardboard and tape them to your feet where you want to add space to the liner, also tape your insole to the foot and cover it all with a thin sock for the mold

the last time I did this I used the cardboard from a corona beer case

MEC neoprene paddling socks, cut the toes off. Makes for a pretty good tie cap for around $11.

Intuition fit kit (includes the toe cap and fitting sock) is $10 CDN on their website.

sure ^^ , I first seen a dealer do it that way, cut a 1" strip of corrugated cardboard for around the front of the toes and a piece on top, tape /cover it all in place with masking tape and cover with a thin sock
