Alkaline water for the road
First off, please don't ridicule me for believing in alkaline water and its properties. It's a choice, I'm sticking to it, for now at least. Now, back to what I was going to ask. I'm not the biggest fan of spending money on bottled water, even be it alkaline. Too expensive, there's the whole pollution impact too, nothing to gain from it. But what I was thinking is to get a pitcher that makes alkaline water and even take it with me on my trips. This way, I drink filtered water that's extra healthy! So, any of you who can help out, please pitch in your two cents. Found some budget deals here but I'm still undecided https://www.optimainstitute.com/wate...r-pitcher.html. I know Brita makes good stuff, had a normal pitcher a few years ago that I was quite pleased with. Should I stick with the same brand or do you have other suggestions?

Hi Catherine. Welcome. I'm on a gluten free diet and I'd like to hear more about this water.

It’s fun to keep up with idiotic beliefs propagated by the Internet. So I googled:
Alkaline water enthusiasts claim that its increased hydrogen provides greater hydration than regular water, especially after a hard workout.

First of all, my condolences to Tiger fans on the passing of Al Kaline, the inventor of alkaline water. Few know that in addition to being a HoF outfielder Al was an avid tinkerer of various water formulations to enhance sports performance.

Maine is just so much better than New Hampshire.
I did not know that Mr. Tiger had a water company. RIP.
