    Anybody still buying skis etc?

Thanks to the bat flu and the abrupt end of ski season my store is changing over to summer 5-6 weeks earlier than normal so if anybody is looking check out www.theguideshut.ca

Price police be aware this is canuckistan dollars and we do try to match independent ski retailer pricing when possible on the same size and model year of item.

Dynastar, Volkl, Stockli, Black Crows, LOOK, Marker, Lange, Full Tilt and other good stuff

Wax- best of luck and praying that you and your store can make it through this temporary lull. I think a lot of people, especially paycheck to paycheck and seasonal employees have put a hold on purchases till they can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hang in there.

Are there customs to the US? Isn't there not supposed to be or is that only for truckers and mega corps?
    Shipping?
    No longer stuck.

Duties are a separate issue, but going from the US to Canada using FedEx or UPS generally means the recipient has to pay a "brokerage fee" of about $60, which buys you expedited customs processing. Think I had to pay this once for a shipment from Canada to the US, but don't remember for sure.

Using US Postal Service or Canada Post avoids brokerage fees, but lengthens the transit time because the package has to go through the standard customs process, which can take weeks.

The 40% discount code wasn’t working when I tried it the other day.

•Edit, I just saw the coupon code on the site is for ski apparel only. Still might be good to have a message saying coupon code not valid on this items.

Dr. Evil, there should be discount on all skis except 2021 models we got early. At least 30% off. We will update the hard good pricing ASAP. Honestly it is sometimes easier to call the store 250 423 3650.
We pay shipping on orders over 200$ CDN (140$ish USD at this point) but you pay duties/customs. We ship Canada Post/USPS from Fernie BC.
We are currently open from 11-3 MST during the lock down.
2019 bikes are on sale but we don't ship as every single time it is a nightmare, sorry
    thanks

There should be no taxes/duties or extra brokerage fees for shipments to USA valued under $800 USD, regardless of carrier. (Strictly speaking there is a limit of 1 shipment per person per day under this exclusion, but I don't know how they would keep track of that).

I have shipped many items to USA with Canada Post/USPS and UPS with no problem. Going the other way (USA to Canada) is a different story.

Size: 272.3 KB Interestingly enough these have been our best sellers during the bat flu pandemic. Ironically selling anti-online shopping shirts online. So if you have a flawed sense of humor these may interest you.
Enter "porn" in your search at www.theguideshut.ca

For maggots, buy any ski and I'll send the shirt no charge.

The website doesn't offer an option to ship to the United States. When I go down to select my country and state/province I only have Canadian options. Still a stellar t-shirt. I'll give the shop a call during business hours tomorrow. It's the perfect level of crude for me.

I know, right, the shirt is our number one online seller. It doesn't negate the fact that we have skis and other winter stuff for sale. Price police let me know if anything is not kosher, remember Canadian pesos at play here.
Thanks to the bat flu we have no significant bikes left.
