WTS/WTT: ON3P Kartel 108 191 CM
Trying to unload a pair of ON3P Kartel 108's that I picked up from @Lemonhead a while back. I cant remember what the mounts are for so if anyone has any ideas or if lemonhead can shout em out that would be much appreciated.
I paid $350 for them and will be taking a hit no matter what, probably shouldn't have paid that much in the beginning, but thats a closed book. I am looking to get $300 (?). Or I would be open to trading for a touring ski for my dad. Those specs would be a ski between 180-190cm, 90-100cm waist, and mildly stiff for him to charge. He enjoys trees and moguls so something sort of nimble as well.
Bases are in prime condition, topsheets have two mounts which is a bummer, other than that no issues. I am located in Denver and can arrange a dropoff in Denver over the next couple of days, silverthorne, steamboat, WP, or anywhere near Kremmling.

Trade may be your best bet - they're selling new with shipping on the ON3P website for $524.

-The Commish said it best, "If you're trying to sell gear here, don't expect to get market prices...unless you're willing to trade gonzo for a router. The standard maggot/minion pricing paradigm is:
50% of current online price (not MSRP)
-10% per year old
-10% per times drilled, per core shot, per delam...etc
-10% per marker binding attached
+10-30% for Rare/High-demand itemOriginally Posted by jm2e:

Found old thread. Looks like Pivot and Warden holes at 295 and 315. Hmmm, I would need to do a 3rd mount. Need to think about these. If you can reuse holes, these are a no brainer.

Is your dad a Dynastar guy? I've got a pair of 189 Cham 107 2.0 mounted once with Fritschi FR Pro @around -1 for 335 bsl. Binders could be included if you'd like.

188 Rossi Sky 7s? 130-100-120 dims. Bases are great. One mount for Dynafits at 310ish BSL. Trade? I'm not sure what they ski like though so might not be the right skis for your pops.

I’m a 295. I feel like I should buy these just to put an end to the travesty that is Kartels for $200. What has the world come to?

Seriously, that is a ridiculous deal. I'm a 295 too, but figure if I can't get on with a Billy Goat, the Kartel really won't work for me.
He who has the most fun wins!

Very different skis. Kartels are very easy in anything soft, a great combination of having substance but also playfulness. I think the people that don't get along with them are those that are very used to driving through the tips of the skis rather than having a more centered, freestyle stance. BGs are true crud busters that come alive in 3D snow.
