FT: DH bike for a Gravel Bike in Montana
Been out on the road bike a bit. Looking to get on some back roads. My DH bike never gets used even when the bike park is open. $ is slim right now like it is for most everyone. I can get a deal on a Knolly Cache, and probably will at some point, but until then I just need something I can pedal on some dirt after work away from people that isn't my full on trail bike.
I'll need something in a 54cm frame size. Disc brakes or frame posts for disc upgrade in the future would be huge. We can hose both bikes down with some alcohol based cleaning solution I have.
Size Small Knolly Podium. Pretty slick build. 26" wheels so I guess that means its worthless....unless you like having a fucking BLAST on a nimble badass DH rig.

Bump. Need some dirt road riding in my life. I have a great road bike, but you run out of pavement pretty darn fast around here and it's carbon and I can't fit any tire wider than like 29mm.

Ok, so I may have one buyer on the line from pinkbike. Haven't heard back in about 24 hours though.
Maggot price = $1050 shipped in the lower 48. Just stupid fucking cheap.

Damn. Under different circumstances I'd be all over this. I was dead-set on going to Whistler this year, then I suffered a serious head injury last fall and that dream died until 2021 at least, then the covefe happened. If you still have it in November and I still have a job let's chat. Good luck.

I have wanted a legit gravel/adventure bike for a while now anyway. I have ridden this DH bike a total of 5 times over the past two seasons. My trail/enduro race bike is burly as fuck and handles bike park very well.
I will say this Podium is way more nimble and that CC coil shock on the back is fucking amazing.

Oh, makes more sense if you have an enduro.

The PB listing with more details. I'm sure there is a dentist on here with 3 gravel bikes collecting dust that want to swap one out for a DH rig?

Tried to talk my wife into it. No dice. She had some shitty reason about living 3 hours from a downhill park that we've never been to.
