OK, I'll share my experience from last night.
I decided to practice social distancing by going up to Bogus Basin to ski the pooltable soft fresh, I remember starting my skin a little after 5pm after helping a group of friends get their vehicle out of a snowbank, which was not social distancing.
I know I was on the snow when the earthquake happened, but did not feel a thing. The wind was hammering and I was just trying to get up to some shelter but noticed absolutely no tremoring or snow movement or trees swaying. Everywhere I went last night on the snow showed absolutely no signs of snow instability from the earthquake, no trees came down, no cracking, just a steady wind up high.
I got back to my vehicle around 8pm to enjoy a beautiful alpenglow and a beer. I called my wife to tell her I was safe and the skiing was excellent. She proceeds to ask me if I felt the earthquake and I was like, "earthquake??? Really?" Driving down an unmaintained road thereafter was a bit of a challenge, but the Tacoma took it in stride. I did notice some areas on Bogus Basin road where it looked like more gravel fell than normal and a few larger chunks of granite on the road, but nothing significant.
I don't know, maybe the snow has an attenuating factor for seismic waves especially with how much new snow fell. I guess until the snow completely settles it's still moving too, so maybe that's why I and apparently others didn't feel the earthquake.
