Essential Travel. Let’s see your idea of “essential”

Back to the stoke, let’s keep the trolls out and get this place back to the stoke it used to deliver.

Is the road to the bottom of 3 open (cross country trail)? Or did you skin from the upper lodge up to access chair 3 terrain?

If the road is clear which it won't be right now, they'll lock the gate until mid-May or so.

Does it ride OK that far back or does it have a tendency to porpoise during high speed evacuations?
Crippled but free, I was blind all the time, I was learning to 'ski'.

Nope, my buddy just flies his drone up with me attached and drops me off. Park at Pioneer and skin from there, just don't take my line.

I won't take your line, but Sunbeam looks awefully tasty and smooth!

Wifey, the dogs & me went for a drive to eastern side of Washington. Lusted at all the snow crossing the pass although it's going through a cycle. Stopped for a quick bite in Selah before heading home and a near mint 1997 Subaru SVX was rumored to exist there. Private seller wanted it gone, met us, agreed to an offer & took payment. So I guess that's stretching our stay at home request but I'd do it again. Essential to support a local economy in times of great stress. And....it's the dude's birthday tomorrow!

Driving from Seattle to eastern ID to pick up son from college this week. Can usually make the drive with only 1 stop each way, but plan to take the scenic route as long as I'm out of the house. Plus picking up some bindings from a Mag along the way.

Ok, so I took your line today mtnjam. It was pretty good around noon, not mushy, but not great corn. At least it was soft. I tested out my real tech rig and I must say I am sold. I dig how pins climb and they do down just fine. Got a nasty blister on my inner left ankle on the climb up Smuggler. Going to have to fix that!Click image for larger version.

Took me daughter Jill along, she booted the whole climb and is a stud!

Right on spud...looks like Bogus is holding up well, I guess I should know, I was up there again on Friday.

Pretty amazing how long Bogus will hold snow on the northish facing slopes.

Glad you're liking and trusting the tech clamps. Yep, it took me a few years to trust tech bindings after years of tele.
