    Kastle TX97 touring sticks -$300

Here’s a catch and release from eBay:

187 CM Kastle TX97 Tour Montagne circa 2016, used a handful of times according to the previous seller.

I bought this as a all-around lightweight touring stick, as it is favorably reviewed online and used by many ski mountaineers, Exum guides, etc. Asking $300, so price police me if you think I’m off.

Top sheet is in good condition, and the bases have just a few longer scratches that likely won’t effect performance and would disappear with a base grind.

Edges are immaculate, and the overall condition of the ski I would say is a 7 or 8 out of 10.

One mount for what looks to be some sort of downhill binding, or perhaps a frame touring binder.

Only selling because I bought Margotron’s Lowdown 102s.

These things flex softer in the tips, but noticeably stiffer underfoot and very stiff in the tail. The 187 length is quite a lot of ski.

Looking for the same amount I paid on eBay, but I am accepting offers as well. Will split shipping cost.

How different is the 2016 model compare to the current rev? Specifically the rocker/camber...

    Kastle TX97 touring sticks -$300

Here’s the most helpful review I’ve found online. The skis have a subtle early rise, and plenty of effective edge. The stated weight is 1700g, but I haven’t actually weighed this pair.

I believe the newer models are roughly 300 grams lighter, per ski, and have white top sheets. I personally wanted the heavier version for more versatility.

Someone should grab these. I wish that I wasn't so quick to pull the trigger, but I just bought a pair of new TX98 188 for $500. FUCK!. If someone wants the tx 98 and wants to do a three way, Im game. If the purchase deal falls thru, I will be all over these sexy beasts.

Any way, free bump for outstanding skis by quality seller.
