Hey all-

A whole lot of patrols shut down in a big hurry.

There may be a much needed, untapped resource locked up in patrol rooms and clinics: PPE.
At a minimum, exam gloves. But I am sure that there are a whole lot masks, face shields and gowns locked up on shelves somewhere. BVMs are also likely to become scarce.

Please contact your patrol director or clinic manager to make sure those resources are put to use.
Don't worry about not having supplies on hand for opening- If PPE is still in short supply in December, you're not opening.

Heard some good news today that the fire stations are picking up patrollers to make med calls and give them some work and to help with isolation shifts on essential first responders.

It’s worth checking.

Patrol may have gloves and masks.

Ski area clinics def have shields, masks, gloves.

I think this is more of a base area clinic call out.
But I’m sure most are on it already.

If only. By the time we shut down, it was obvious that we could not get the PPE required to keep running. The tiny bit we had left went to the local SAR team, as they had even less.
