I'm down for at least one giggle wiggle sashay session before we crush the launch bombs.

Thanks for the invite and bringing folks together! Unless work forces me back to the east coast, likely in for at least part of this. Looking forward to hanging again!

WSTdeep will open them, I’ll close’em, little does he know but I’ve been closing his 8s for years.

For those who have Spatulas, bring them, we can have Spatula Summit to celebrate the awesomeness of fat pow skis! Pon2oons welcome too. If people are up for a walk, we can take them someplace fun, soft, and deep off south of the resort.

Rutter bends his knees twice a lap, once to put his skis on, once to take them off! Haha, bending knees is optional! I’m sure we can wrangle up a few JHAF for a few laps.

Not sure where I’m living next winter, but if I have room, I’ll do what I can to help out.

Of course everything is tentative at this point. This whole shindig got pushed back by a year already.
It's gonna happen on those dates unless some more planet engulfing bullshit happens again.

HTFB - been thinking on ya. Maybe connect for some sesh this summer?. Come up, it's cool here, mostly.

With any luck, we'll have plenty of mags that will be in charge mode as well as many that prefer the social aspects more. Plenty of room for all here, but getting some of you will be a real score. BH tops that list for me.

Currently healing up a ruptured Achilles, but should be good to go for the upcoming season.

If I can pull it together these next six months I wonder if I can pull off a trip to JH.

Part of the prerequisite will be Mags cooking on camera.

Well it's a lot further to Jackson from my new locale, but I'd love to make it up that way this winter. We'll see how things shape up.

Hey JH mags. Any advantage (or disadvantage) in flying to JH from SEA or SLC? Am I missing a better connecting city from Vancouver? Not looking for a travel agent, just looking to not miss something obvious. Thanks.

I don't think you can get a more direct flight than Van-Sea-JH... But if you do Van-SLC-JH there are advantages.
If it's weathery in JH and you can't get in or miss that leg or some Kaka, you can drive into JH from SLC or get a van shuttle and still make the skiing in JH. 5-6 hour drive, pretty easy, mostly Interstate in a storm, only a few turns. Flight from SLC-JH is about 50 mins and stunning.
If SEA is the middle point and shit goes wrong, you're not gonna drive from there.
Contrarily, if SLC is closed for storms, your flight will be delayed/possibly canceled and you won't even get out of Canada. That's unlikely.
SLC doesn't close easily or cancel flights much.
    read that again.
IME, they are a better hub than DIA for winter travel into JH. I think the Denver airport closes stuff earlier so that the workers can go ski, cuz it doesn't snow there much anymore. SLC workers have been stuffed to the gills up in the satchmo.

    Do it!

hahaha, well my friend if I could make that work I would, unfortunately I will take my get-outta-Terrace-and-spend-a-bunch-of-our-retirement-funds pass from the missus! I think Alpental works better for me as a little add on to a YVR driving trip. And, hey - all the alpental mags are coming to JH anyway aren't they???
