For what it's worth, I've found both black top sheet dps and the tt stormriders to be very fragile.

Both skis have very soft, but fast, bases and delicate sidewalls /edges.

Maybe I'm just really bad and ski over too many rocks

I drank some beers with the production manager, Buddy told me he still had a set of forms that said "lotus 120" but being 27 and at DPS for only 2 years he had no idea what they were

i told him the lotus 120 was a full on cult classic, build it and they will buy it, but i doubt that will happen

Maybe when Stephan’s non compete expires he can build them back better.

just to be certain, DPS still has the blue spoon lotus 120 molds. It does NOT have the older lotus 120 or lotus 138 molds. Those skis were never made in the US. When DPS left the manufacturing partner that made those skis, all the molds were destroyed (common practice to protect IP). I know this for a fact, and was on the call confirming that all of this occurred.

I checked on a reisssue and there was essentially no interest at all from DPS.
