I busted through to the gravel underneath. Did two runs and decided to save what was left of my bases.

I have little affinity for texas, but that's not a texas thing; maybe west texas but I would not know, outside the Houston-dallas-Austin triangle doesn't exist as far as I am concerned.

as someone who worked at Purgatory for a few years in the 90s, I am here to report that it is a Texas thing.

Unless you also wore a '90s era Starter jacket it doesn't count.

This was me on my birthday last year.

We were at the hill for the kids race banquet and I didn't bring my gear. So I borrowed some from the rental shop.

Bonus points for it raining slightly

We always skied in jeans in the 70s & early 80s as kids- with "warm ups" (insulated ski pants) over them when it was cold, and just jeans in the spring. Coat was the same one we wore to school etc. And we never got COVID-19, so I think we were on to something . . .

Went to Bridger bowl on a bitter fucking cold day and a gal brought her full montucky boyfriend with. Jeans, starter jacket, no gloves, no hat. Lasted a single run to midway.

Fast forward a year and another boyfriend.l drug along w same gal. Serious bro-bra. Brutally cold powder day. Backwards baseball cap and oakleys. 1 run.

    Sogh
