I had never felt an earthquake before. Waking up to a 5.6 definitely does not make me want to experience anything more powerful...

Why dilute and ruin the actual flavor notes with water? Never understood cooling booze and killing it's intended flavor profile.

Dude, I'm really really hoping that valknut symbol on your holster is because you have a strong Norwegian-American identity and nothing more.

Drink water backs. Jim Bean straight up noted though. I might water that too. Just always wondered the fascination with rock "ice cubes" and the fancy ice ball makers for boozes that to be served at room temp. Kinda like ice cold Heineken. Says 45-50 right on the fucking bottle. Still shit beer but the maker intended it to be served to show it's entire flavor profile.

Holster MFG is Odin Holsters, all his holsters are named after norse mythology, valknut, odin, etc. I have a close coworker who knows the owner personally, and as far as I can tell, it has nothing to do with the fuckers who keep commandeering logos to use rendering them useless for those of us who enjoy norse mythology, etc. If i find out differently, I'll certainly pull the logo sticker off.

Apparently there was a spill of hydrochloric acid at the Kennecott mine this morning, caused by the earthquake. No information on scale and nature (liquid vs gas) but enough that the national guard was deployed to monitor the event. Link here.
There's a chance corrosive rain will be added to the list of plagues currently affecting UT. If you see a quartet of weird looking horse-riders going down your street offer them TP, it might appease them...

If you haven't yet acquired said genny, and cold (below -20C) and elevation (above 1500m) isn't a concern, then consider propane. Way better fuel for prepping (shelf life, engine longevity, run time, etc.). For honda at least, there are a plethora of conversion kits available too.
