And once again, I'm back in the fucking stores prepping, this time getting that generator I've been thinking about getting for 8 years. Then to the gas station to fill up gas cans. Large multi-gallon water bottles are being refilled, and we are moving a change of clothes and all our cornoavirus prep food supply to the new-ish workshop, and out of the basement of our brick 1952 home that will disintegrate upon the big one that's overdue here.

My wife is not doing well. My 6 year old is pretty scared.

A bit of chaos near my work with trax signal arms permanently down, power out, and a 'shelter in place' text everyone got, maybe for those with power lines down in Magna???

God sending a message? Maybe Mitt should have voted to acquit? Or, more likely, God is a skier, and he's pissed that the greatest snow on Earth is not accessible by lift served means.

Relax. Isaac Newton predicted the end of civilization in 2060. We still have another 40 depreciable years left...well, you. I only have about 20.

Liquor stores all closed to check for “structural damage”, foiled my plans for two more boxes of wine.

Thanks. E15 or E85? If I buy E85 and I need to refresh before it goes bad, I can't dump it into any car I own.

E15 and E85 contain ethanol in those percentages. You want zero ethanol gas for small carbs.

Locally (Reno), Maverick stations have it at the blue pump.

Most (all?) Maverick's in Utah have it as well. Blue pump. Marketed as "clear gas" or something like that.

Think I'll fill up water jugs when I get home just in case. Both cars got filled up Monday, a coworker told me gas stations are crazy right now.

Gonna kick around the idea of buying a generator that could at least run fridge and space heater.

I hope everyone is OK. I remember researching possible landing spots for a family move west, then the wifee found the Utah State study about liquification and the prediction of the next big one. After a conversation with an OG maggot engineer who was in Park City at the time, we waved off on SLC.
A woman reported to police at 6:30 p.m. that she was being "smart-mouthed."

Another serious tremor, it's not letting up. Just watched the 60" telecon screen in the office wobble and damn near flop on its face. We had a pretty good power surge and the generator kicked in. Just shut down all of the instruments we had running...

Pretty solid cluster so far... No fucking way there is any TP left in the state by the end of the day. Between Moroni's trumpet flying off and the COVID trying to throat-fuck people the momo doomsday preppers are probably riding to the store on militarized ATVs wearing full body armor right now.
