I thought I read that there are certain pre-qualifications to get that $1k? Or, is it anyone with a SSN gets $1k?

I just spend a couple hundy at my local bike shop. And got a take out pizza from the local pizza place in my 'hood. Doing my part to help out local biz during these tough times. Sucks going into a local restaurant with zero people in it, when it normally would be about 50% full on a Tuesday night.

Been trying our best to support the various local eateries which are doing seemingly well with takeout biz. Trying to do our part staying home otherwise. Getting nutty. Kids schools meeting to discuss if they will continue school year at all. Trying to start a new job in a house with 2 kids, a wife, 2 dogs and a cat with no dedicated office at the moment has been a challenge.

I am certain we did not and this time I'm sure we won't either. But that's okay

My sister is a recently-divorced restaurant server with a 3 y.o. and a lot less savings than I do. If I get anything it's probably going to her.

I said this elsewhere, but Trump supporters should really refuse the check in order to prove that they have faith in Dear Leader to turn this situation/economy around.

It's going to be a debit card with loaded with $1,000 that can only be used at a Trump resort/hotel/restaurant... And Trump will say that his businesses never had to ask for any bailout money.

If I get anything, I’ll tip my regular waitresses and bar tenders very well the next time I see them. I figure I owe them $40 a week.

These gals have kids, etc. just horrible what is happening.

Over $99K / year and you ain't getting diddly. Declining amounts start at 75K/yr. Roughly double the numbers for married folk filing jointly. I was going to donate mine to local doggie shelter but I'll just be doing that out of my own pocket.
