best ski gear for social distancing
let's hear 'em. What would make people avoid taking the lift with you, avoid you as you walk down the street with them, refuse to tour with you, etc. Gimme the ugliest, dumbest, most downright wrong gear choices, such that even the friendliest and most open-minded skier might gaze upon your visage and turn away out of complete disgust. Gimme the gear so bad that the cops will run you out of town for even carrying the stuff.
what would you ski on.... if you were da freakin Joker???
this thread will NOT be safe for work. gimme your best TGR. Real "mark of Cain" shit. Combos are the name of the game here.
Starter example: 150 rossi smash 7 w/ race plates, Louis Vuitton puff jacket (~$3500,) construction helmet, rebar poles

Bluetooth speaker blasting Dave Matthews Band ought to do the trick. I know I'd certainly stay well away from that person.

Skunk tail fur hanging from the back of the helmet (that was skinned right after he/she sprayed and not cleaned or anything) , any old rear entry boots with bonus for having pink or lime neon green on them, and to top it all off you need a old dirty and faded fart bag from a major brand of the 70's (if you can't find one then maybe a Tipsy Elves would suffice)

I could skip laundry and my synthetic base layer would do the trick. no new or extra gear needed

Most people look at my rear entry boots with some confusion and disdain, but the people who it seems to aggravate the most are the folks skiing pin/tech bindings at the resort. I avoid those people, they're such a bunch of pretentious gear snobs.

best ski gear for social distancing
I once saw a kid at Northstar wearing a Super Mario-looking jacket top with the message ‘’I’d rather be cool than trendy’’ sharpied onto the back of it. He was also wearing a pair of soaked cloth boxers outside his snowpants.

do those ruroc things actually, like, keep a goggle seal? looks like they'd be leaky as shit. fuckin' hurricane zone inside that thing.
Speaking of leaky my new idea is to take a pair of white ski pants and just dye the crotch and seat a solid brownish-red. gotta have them earth tones

apparently it's the least survivable on copper surfaces so I'm gonna fashion myself a suit of full plate armor and "go green" two pow days in

Bummed about no lifts so decided to go XC on my old touring gear--Trak fishscale steel edge nordic touring skis that are way over my head, with 3 pin bindings, above ankle leather boots.. Haven't used that stuff in 40 years or so. I was a sight for sure.
