Anyone else pre-order a fly rod holder from Wasatch Powder Monkeys?

It was about 4 years ago. They were asking $99 upfront so they could develop a fly rod holder. It was to be called the QuickDraw. You'd get it at that price once in production if you got in at $99. They were to retail for $499. My buddy did it. I almost did. Been four years- nothing. He said the guy answered emails for a while, now crickets. It's only a hundo, but he's getting a little annoyed. Thought maybe someone here may know what's up with these guys.

I used to see the guy around a lot at the dog park, but haven’t seen him, or his truck for at least a year. Good luck

Buddy finally got his refund. Didn't want to leave this out there that WPM's flaked. I mean I took waaaaay longer than it should have, but they did not completely flake.
