Well that was fun. I thought there was a bigger difference between the rens and the havocs but they're both heavy.

    Daily driver setup (one ski)

    DPS Wailer 112 Tour 1 = 1,450g
    Kingpin 13 Binding = 730g
    G3 Alpinist +Glide Skin = +/- 275g
    La Sportiva Spectre 2.0 Boot = 1,445g
    ----------------------------------------------

Total 3900g or 8.58lb per foot

Awesome in soft snow... the crusty, variable shit, well, not so much fun. I think next setup i'll go for a burlier ski, with a lighter binding and play with the ramp angle to match the kingpin feeling (especially in the heel).

Right now it’s Katana VWerks 184, 1950g and G3 Ion LT12s at 440g and Vulcans w/o tongue and power strap at like 1450g. Considering putting Alpinists on them.

However, if I were to get a new powder & down oriented setup I’m dreaming of the BC Agent 4.0 with Alpinists and 0G TGPs and would be 600g lighter per foot. Probably would be great for my 90% bc/10% lift served criteria.

    My first touring rig

Line Sick Day Tourists - 1670g
    Shifts - 886g
Dynafit Winter Guide boot - 1540g
Black Diamond Glidelite Skin - 300g

Total ~4400g per foot or ~ 9.8lbs per foot

Maybe I should start running with 10lb ankle weights.

Just put together a new set up that I'm pretty stoked about.

    184 ON3P Steeple 102: 1940 g per foot
Plum Guide: 341 g per foot
    Pomoca Climb 2.0: 300 g per foot
    Cochise 120: 1850 g per foot

Total of 4431 g per foot. Pretty manageable weight and should be pretty great on the way down for a touring rig.

Just got my new spring touring setup. Can't wait to get them on the snow.
DPS Pagoda Tour 100 RP 1470g
Dynafit Superlight 150 160g with crampon mount
    Atomic Hawx 130 1400g
    Pomoca Climb Pro skins 314g
    3.34 KG per foot.

My midwinter setup is Wailer 112 Tour 1 with Zed 12's and brakes is around 3.8 .

I geeked out and did a spreadsheet on how much weight has come down from when I first started touring. My first setup were Garmonts 3855g Bandit XXX 1800 g (? on the web the closest I could find was the B3 which was lighter than the xxx) Fritchi Freerides 1130 and Ascension skins total setup 7kgs. We did the SW Chutes on Mt Adams in 2006 for an 8k plus day and my buddy skied an extra 1500 feet past where we were supposed to start circumnavigating the volcano. I suffered so much I contemplated just leaving them for anyone willing to hike out with them. The upside of the heavy gear was that we almost had the mountains to ourselves compared to nowadays

    mass wins

Been on 1650g Backlands for 3 yrs in the PNW - love them for light snow and corn.

But when traversing cut up slopes, and on my rare inbounds days, these tips get deflected more than a crappy aiming storm trooper.

I've had TLT7's and lighter skis, but these days I'm on Hoji boots and I'd be willing to add 100g easy for a bit more damp ski.

    ON3P Billy Goat 108 Tour - 1760gr
    Fritschi Tecton 12 - 678gr
    G3 Alpinist+ Glide skins - 290gr
    La Sportiva Synchro - 1498gr

    4.226kg per foot

I’m happy with it all and it skis fantastically well. I don’t do a ton of miles/vert so I haven’t felt a need for anything lighter, though, granted this is my first season touring. Things may change in the future, but maybe not. Who knows.

Want to see if anyone else is into really light setups here. I know it does not ski as well as all these heavy setups I keep seeing, but I can also get a few extra laps each day. Spent a lot of days in the PNW this season on it and really like it in all conditions except breakable crust (but I haven't found a ski I like in breakable yet):
-Ski Trab Gara Titan Bindings (~120g)
    -Movement Race Pro 85 169 cm (~870g)
    -Dynafit PDG2 (-830g)
All in all, 1820g per foot.

    Light rig:
    Lowdown 90, 1300g
    ATK trofeo plus, 200g
    Alien RS, 900g?
    Pomoca pink, no idea.

Delightful on long days/traverses, still is fun to ski.

Absolutely mall walker! They’ve been getting out a bunch lately! Topped out on Stuart, Cashmere, Eightmile, Cannon, Axis, and Colchuck in the last two weeks. Still the best skinny/light ski I’ve used.

Worth noting I suppose, my 117 waist pow touring rig is about 450 grams heavier, same boots.

My partner has been skiing Line Supernatural 108s with Speed Radicals and ZeroG PRO boots. He's fit and definitely can charge like a Sq**w skier should be able to. Still, he recently switched to ZeroG 108s with Ion LTs and praises them to the heavens for the light weight. Slightly less stout than the Lines but like 500g (net) lighter per ski. I laugh because I have ZG108s as well and they are the heaviest ski in my BC quiver except for the Tour1 Lotus 138s that are still only 2000g LOL.

Too heavy, but I'm working on it.

Just bought some skis to shave 500g per foot off my setup but still won't be near where most of these posts are in setup total weight.

The heaviest portion of my setup is my fat ass... I'd love to shave 20 pounds off my "touring gear."

    Sick!

    Backland 78/163 + ATK Trofeo - 1400g
    Dynafit TLT6 - 1300g?
    Precut skins are 175g
    =
    2890g per foot

Hoping to grab a new boot, a race setup and a powder setup this/next year.

That's a proud list, especially in a two week period. What did you ski on Stu?

Did a circuit up colchuck, down porcupine, camped at Ulrich’s, climbed/skied it, camped below Ingalls, went to goat pass and skied the stuart glacier back into stuart lake and out mountaineers creek. Had a perfect weather window, it’s something I’ve been hoping to do for a while.

Not touring much recently, kids and moving back to midwest for a time, but I will not let my quiver go...

    Quiver is from 2012-2015 timeframe:

Dynafit Mercury Boots 26.0 (294 mm) with stock liner - 1570g (3.46 lb) 3140g (6.92 lb) for pair

Ski weights are with mounted binding and healthy layer of storage wax (all with brakes)

    Pow touring/more vert (hut trips)
    175 Praxis UL GPO's (111 mm) with dynafit vertical ft12's and B&D toe shim - 2285g (5.04 lb) per ski 4570g (10.1 lb) pair
skins BD Mohair mix STS cut to shape - 357g (0.8 lb) with cheat sheet per ski
ski weight is 1650g per ski

    Pow touring/less vert/max fun
177 Praxis Protest (128 mm) with dynafit vertical ft12's (B&D toe shim to be added) - 2575g (5.68 lb) per ski - 5150g (11.35 lb) pair

    Volcano touring (shasta)
    173 Dynafit Grand Tetons (106mm) with dynafit st10's - 2160g (4.76 lb) per ski - 4320g (9.52 lb) for the pair

I have a pair of Dynafit TLT6 Performance boots that I haven't skied in yet
but could be used to up the vertical capacity

    Dyna TLT6P 26.0 (287 mm) - 1150g (2.54 lb) per boot (420g per foot saving - just under a pound with 454g per pound)

seems like a nice set up, how do you like the backlands? I don't know much about them, but they seem popular when people go light. Also if you like your TLT6 fit would recommend the PDG line to you, pretty light and same lower shell.

Pretty sure the PDG, at least the newer ones, has way higher volume fit than the TLT6, closer in fit to TLT7/8?
