I noticed pasta was nearly running out today at Front Range King Soopers.
I'm hearing more and more about businesses starting to prepare their workforce for 'remote work' or a substantial amount of people out sick. Time to dust off the business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

What do the levels mean?
Don't most of us have food in our cupboards? Yeah I restocked my baking pantry and what I normally eat which is a lot of pasta, grains and legumes and bought a half dozen cans of soup that I don't usually keep on hand. Also made sure I have plenty of cat food/litter but beyond that nothing else. Don't have any hand sanitizer but I do have masks as a normal part of my farm work. Have a lot of TP, Lysol and Clorox wipes but that's normal because I made a Costco run last month.

What if you can’t prep because all the jackoff losers already pillaged the stores of any sanitizer, cough syrup, chopsaws and toilet paper?
I figure if I need anything, and it gets bad enough, I’ll just follow some tub of shit home from Costco and take some of whatever they got.I still call it The Jake.

An extra roll of ass paper and box linguini fini makes me a 2. I have keys or codes to a couple of dozen second homes, so if things get really desperate I guess I could raid them for TP and scotch. #marshalllawriotingatthelocalgrocery

I'm not doing anything special but will likely avoid large crowds (which I do, anyway), wash my hands more vigorously/longer, avoid going to Seattle, watch the news for updated information.... I'm not worried since I figure we're all likely to get exposed to it sooner or later no matter what we do. I don't have any underlying health issues and am in good shape so don't really think I'll be hit too hard if/when I get it. The same goes for my wife and we don't have parents alive anymore and no kids. With that, I went for a 3.

I bought a case of TP and 128 Tide PODS yesterday...but that was b/c I had a coupon at BJ's.
But I just got back from a wedding on a cruise ship, so I'm saying that makes me a -1!It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.
I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

I am preparing by.....getting on a plane to the Bay Area through SeaTac because my dad had a small stroke. Maybe the flight will be half empty and I'll get Poor Man's First Class.
I've seen at least 1 person buying a ton of frozen veggies but no pet food, tp, bandages, etc. Oh and hand sanitizer and masks are sold out everywhere. Fucking idiots.

We went to pick up a few things the other night and TP was on sale and we had a coupon so got 60 rolls of Scott (the good stuff) for $30. Going back again today with the same coupon, hope it's not all sold out. Now that there are people within 20 miles of where I live with confirmed cases shit's starting to get real here.
