Moved to a three on the scale, stocked some pasta, rice and canned tomatoes along with a few more rolls of TP. Filling out the bread making supplies today and getting materials delivered to the job site. Expect the shit to hit the fan next week with full panic mode going into affect.

One of my client/friends from the Boston area texted me yesterday that he is headed up today with the kids for the ease of social distancing Vermont offers. Lol

Meanwhile my wife and I have to miss work or take PTO and try to work from home.

    I’m pissed.

This is fucked. If my kid's schools close, I am going to make sure that if they keep charging us, it is to pay the teachers. Otherwise they can fuck right off.

Yea. The parents have ganged up on her and now she’s reevaluating the decision.

    So it started today.

The trigger was closing local schools indefinitely.

Run on the banks and stores cleaned out.

    Bou coup traffic accidents.

    Alarms going off all day.

Hoping it blows over but its lock down now baby, weapons check.

Dammit. I know my main checking account's pretty much dried out, so I went to the website to shuffle some funds around so I can get through the weekend and the freaking website is down thanks to all this panic. Customer service phones are overwhelmed too. Guess I gotta hole up for the weekend and if anything bounces, then screw it. Not sure what I can do now. Oh well. Guess I'll go pour a beer and chill in the backyard now...

Hmm... Not prepping per se, but this might be a nice time to finally get that extra gun safe into the bedroom closet.

Getting a kick out of all the freaking out. I think they are going to close my kids' school for 2 weeks.
If they do that, we may VRBO a place at the beach for cheap and weather it in style.

WA State just closed all schools until mid April. I think at this point it is a contest to see which state can out prepare the next. I walking thru a store just watching people lose their minds and listened to a couple talking about travel bans from state to state. That is very very scary thoughts!

I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

No hand sanitizer, isopropyl alcohol, everclear or 150+ proof vodka to be had in our little slice of Paradise. Store barely able to keep TP on the shelves. ETA Next shipment of hand sanitizer is 3/24; not sure on the everclear

    Doesn't matter. They'll close.

They're not going to make money by staying open. It's going to be a strategic waiting game, by the resorts, to see if they can hold out for a forced government/public health closure first, or if it will become a clear PR/Financial win to close early. It'll be a fine line.

They already made their money off of
epic pass sales. Close now and they save all kinds of expenses and they can say "we're just keeping you safe". call me cynical.
