    Beast 98 vs 108

I’m considering a Dynafit Beast touring ski, and I’m unsure of what width to pull the trigger on.

I’m looking for a ski for longer missions in the spring to high peaks, butI don’t want to sacrifice a ton of performance on the down.

Does anyone have strong opinions or actual comparisons of these two skis? They seem like a pretty good sweet spot for me.

I'd be curious to hear about any skinning issues with all that rocker for firm spring snow.

Well, ask yourself what conditions you expect to run into.
    No longer stuck.

The second you said "spring" and "high peaks" the answer was the 98 of the two. The 108 is pretty versatile for it's shape (VERY rockered - just a bit of flat under foot), but it's sure as shit not what I've ever take out for what you describe.
