Alaska - PNH - The Chugach is currently going off

Season 22 started last week here in Cordova. With several feet of snow here at sea level, the local ski area is in great shape and the surrounding mountains could not be in better shape. Currently have Warren Miller in house shredding for the next 3 weeks and for those inbound to AK this year, we have not seen snow like this since 2012. Your fired up no matter where your headed. All of AK is currently going off!

Awesome to hear that this season's bounty has been equally shared up and down the north coast of the pacific. Huge snow year around Stewart/Hyder. Went out with the guides doing some snow safety work a few weeks ago and measured 550cms of HS at 1200 meters/just below treeline. Wouldn't be surprised if it cracked 6 hundo at that location after this past week's meter+ of HST. Also the best winter for snowfall and consistent epic quality since 2012. Stuck in stewy at the moment. Highway blocked by a controlled size 4.5 avy...just huuuuuuuuuuge. Buried the road, then ran a fair distance up the opposing mountainside.

Louie its very good around here! Eyak has been all time as of late! Miss ya buddy!

Here are a few more pics from the last couple days. The skier shots are from Brad Holmes/Chainsaw Productions filming for Warren Miller Ent. To say the have been crushing it would be an understatement.

Currently dumping again. PNH Tour camp is reporting new snow in FEET as of this morning!

    Are you still open?
Do you have any standby options?

We have a bunch of unemployed rippers here and the airlines are flying out empty.

    Hey Quinner -

Clue us in on what your new USFS permit means for PNH.
Will this allow you to land & ski across the water, closer to base on those iffy gray days when the zone is full milk?
