    Feeler: WTB 1600-1800g Flat/Reverse, Black Crows Daemon / Dynafit Beast 98 ...

I've got 3 sets of touring skis I like a lot so I'm not in a hurry to buy, I am looking for something pretty specific. This is for 100% touring, don't care about resort performance / characteristics / 50-50 stuff at all.

Ideal ski: 183cm Black Crows Daemon, though I'd take the 177 too. Also 177 or 184 Dynafit Beast 98. Volkl V-Werks Mantras? Something in this class.

Waist width like 95-100 basically, though I'd do the 102 Steeples (and maaaaaybe 4FRNT Ravens). Not looking for something fatter, I have fatter skis. Length something like 177-184, with the ideal spot as close to 180 as possible. Probably not gonna bother hauling around something over the low 180cm range unless it's really perfect. Weight something like 1500-1800g, I don't need anything lighter, and I probably won't realistically haul around anything much heavier.

Looking to buy flat, unless you miraculously have them mounted for a 298 BSL with ATK Trofeos or similar. I don't want brakes or really anything over 200g (Speed Rad, Speed Turn, Plum Guide, etc etc etc).

I can wait! There are new 183 BC Daemons around $500 USD but I'd rather get something cheaper if I can... whatcha got

You’ve probably already seen them, but just fyi - Sierra has 177 daemon birdies for $199 right now. Not sure if the construction is different b/w birdie and regular

I tried using a coupon but didn't work... apparently that's common on items listed as clearance (which these are).

    Still a good price though.

I am probably gonna hold out to see if I can get the longer length, fwiw, as those are gonna ski pretty short for what I want em for. Also in the last hour I have become obsessed with acquiring a 180cm Black Crows Solis so who knows.

Check out the Down Lowdown 102 or the Lowdown 90. Flat (not fully reverse), 90000m turn radius. Affordable. Sounds like you might want the Lowdown 90 in 179.
    sproing!

Haha, I actually already have a Lowdown 90 (only comes in 177, at least when I bought it). I absolutely love it and will replace it if it dies; what I want is to add something beefier / thrashier / chargier / higher speed limit: what I want now is basically the same ski just 10mm wider and 1lb/ski heavier. I am contemplating a used pair of LD102s, but the BC Solis is reeeeeally interesting looking...

Truth. Longest radius on the market me think. Absolutely unfazeable at speed.

So if I’m on a 183 Corvus and it’s perfect, what size Daemon (regular)?

Damn the Daemon looks like the perfect complement to the spoon 120 I have.
