Protests, Rangers, Bodacious on eBay FYI. Just don’t see them moving on here. If you want them for the price listed before the eBay auction ends, let’s make a deal.

A combo of BMX 115 and Pon2oons. I’m as surprised as you are.

What’d you think of the factions? I’ve always been curious about that one but kinda worried it’d be too soft for the length. Also what have you found that your liking best? I’m also in the massive long ski quiver club and I’m struggling to find something that checks as many boxes as Salomon dictators until you lightly graze a rock and the cap construction explodes. Currently on thirteens which are decent at times but a little narrow sometimes

I like the Candide 3.0s, a lot. They ski true to length, aren’t too soft or too stiff, actually have a great flex for the length. I continually feel like I want something else every time I grab them, and am trying to get down to a 5 ski inbounds quiver.

We ski a lot of snug steep trees and chutes in the resort and backcountry, and I keep finding my self wanting something with a bit less tail, or a more traditional mount, neither of which these have. The 192 Candide 3.0s are on my short list of skis to try because they are a good ski, and I’d get a much shorter tail.

I’m going to do a new quiver pic in the next few weeks cause I have had a bunch of changes recently, but here’s a preview haha. The 193 Kastle BMX 115, 193 K2 Mindbender 116C, and 189 (but measures 193) K2 Pon2oon replaced close to 10 skis. Since I started skiing those 3 skis, I have been skiing way better and more confident in every situation. I feel it, my ski partners saw the change and mentioned it to me, and life has been good. I am still looking for that 105-110ish unicorn to get me to a 5 ski inbounds quiver, but if I don’t find it, I’m pretty happy where I’m at.

If you have a scale, would you weigh your Protests for me? I'm looking for a pair that's heavier than my pair (which is only 2308g per ski).

    .
    - TRADE your heavy PROTESTS for my lightweight version at this thread

Thanks for taking the time to weigh them. But not significantly heavier than my pair.

Maybe look for a heavy core pair? I doubt you’ll get much heavier with an enduro core pair

For what it's worth, I have about 10 days on my Woodsman 108s and they are unbelievable. Just skied them in a 30 inch Jackson Hole blower pow day, and it was one of the best ski days of my life. At no point was I wishing for more width underfoot. I've also used them on Vermont/Maine boilerplate and moguls, and they did perfectly fine. They are incredibly capable as chargers but also somehow playful at the same time. They are very fun to carve as well.

I had my BMX 115s out and was in love. I’m pretty much over the search for the 100-115 unicorn. Going from the MX98 to the BMX 115 or MB116c is fine for me.

I’m getting different opinions on the Woodsmans. I do know I haven’t messed with any ON3P ever so I’m going to stay away.
