Mate found.
I never have this problem. Can you guess why?

And yes, I dedicated a set amount of space for storage containers. It's two shelves in a cabinet.

We just got done doing our biennial lid and container matching. I think we had to throw out more than we kept.

Re mismatched tupperware, I have the solution.

Do not put away anything incomplete. It takes (way) more space, but only put away bowls complete with lids.

Any stray lids or bowls live on the counter for a few days. If a match isn't made in short order, goodbye. (we do repurpose them somewhat - lids for plant pots to go on, bowls for dirty garage, garden, bike maintanance duties etc).

But don't you dare store that single lid away.

(I used to be cool. Well, like, kind of cool. Maybe. Depending on who you ask. Just never thought I'd be online on a Saturday night discussing tupperware habits)

i have to move when arguing, therefore i clean dishes and/or cleanup when arguing with my spouse.
i've recommended she use that to her advantage, not ocd but certainly compulsive.
my true ocd shines while coding - i like correct and fast code.

    OCD

Seriously, what the fuck is with you people and eggs? Open the damn carton, remove egg, cook. Good lord.

Does each of your pairs of skis always have to go on the same rack too?

Walk-in closet: all shirts/sweaters/jackets must be facing the forward.
Non-Walk-in closet: all shirts/sweaters/jackets must be facing to the right.
I will switch the hangers around.

I just lean them up against the wall. Since there's not room for all of them, some lean on others. But I do keep the pairs together.

The carton’s unload method may matter or not, but that “It’s going to kill you after this date” MUST be visible for my lady.

Mine are facing left for whatever reason, but all the hangers face the right way.
    No longer stuck.

How do people feel about built in egg holders in the refrigerator? Waste of space IMO, especially since I usually buy 18 eggs.
BTW, today I grabbed the first egg I saw and put the rest back without paying any attention to the arrangement. AND I'M OK!!!!

I thot that as a health professional it would be obvious, asking you wife would only be hard on your psyche, cuz talking to your wife in any capacity will just leave your ego bruised & battered like a rotting mango rolling around in the hold of a tramp steamer

another eloquent quote^^ from the radiologist paddling buddy, but wtf do they know ... they are not real doctors
