You people do understand that WD-40 is not a lubricant, right?

I would strongly advise against dumping a whole can down your drain, but even if every single household spritzed all their toilet bowls with it once a week (no one cleans their toilets more than once a week) you're still talking about dilution factors of many, many millions. The average American family uses 300 gal/day.

FWIW, the municipality I work for is in the process of a major upgrade at the WWTP to increase capacity, and it is sized around a 100 gallon per day per home average input.
