    As you can see in this pic I have a small crack on the shell of my Lupo, since it's still smal,l will it work to make a small hole at the end of it to stop spreading? I do that to drum cymbals and works great

    curious to see how far under the tongue it goes, might be a good idea to stop the spread the other way too

    it's quite short as there's the end of the shell right there, it goes all the way out already..

    It's years now but I've drilled a hole to stop a crack in ski boots. Obviously by the time you're doing that it's time for new boots, but it did stop the crack long enough to give a little breathing room while I lined up the next pair. Wasn't an issue on mine, but if you seal it use RTV/AQS/tape/something flexible at the hole end.
