My favorite was Lonely Are The Brave, based on a novel by Edward Abbey.

    Courage IRL.

Dalton Trumbo, who was blacklisted in Hollywood after the House Un-American Activities Committee nearly destroyed his career in the Communist witchhunt of the 40’s and 50’s. Trumbo even went to prison for a spell and was forced to write under a pseudonym for many years

Kirk Douglas, producer and star of the Oscar-winning 1960 epic Spartacus, who is acknowledged to have finally broken the blacklist Trumbo when he insisted that Trumbo’s name appear on the opening credits as the sole writer of the film.

"I am Spartacs" was the real deal.

He was definitely a part of my life through the characters he played in so many movies.

You still see him on the TV .

I assume he had one hell of a great life. He was 103? Dam

I hope to be gone at 85 or less. 103 doesn’t mean good genes.

103 is a good run for anyone or actor. Doesnt seem that long ago he was doing push ups on stage at the grammys(was it the grammys?) He mustve been 90 then. Chin dimple gives you the strength for an extra 15 years i think

Butt chin is the preferred nomenclature. Good to know I've got an extra 15 years.
