No offense but I'd revoke all internet spending privileges from self. Probably stop answering cell phone calls from unknown numbers as well. Don't stick forks in electrical sockets etc. Sorry, I'm just taken aback a bit by the naivete here.

Bummer. Not all drug addicts are as trustworthy as a maggot.

Now, try to be careful when you go out on the town and drink with some of Nashville's best to console yourself, and a blond with fake tits in a cowboy hat and a few miles on her that her makeup and your fourth drink is hiding gets all snuggly at the bar, OK? That could cost you a whole lot more. Maybe a kidney.

My uncle's scam was selling "$250" cookware sets he bought for $5 and sold for $10-15 out of the trunk of his car at bars, gas stations, bowling alleys. The cookware was worth what people were paying him--I got through 4 years of school with a set--plus they got the thrill of getting a great deal, or so they thought. Win-win.
Lot of those guys selling "stolen" merchandise by the side of the road or on the street are licensed sales people selling cheap, not quite identical goods. Strictly legal.

The karmic wheel keeps turning. Went to the very sold out show and within a few minutes met a super cool couple with 2 extra seats in the 5th row and sold us the tickets for less than face value.
Country music isn’t my jam but Robert Earl Keen opening for Tyler Childers on a snowy night in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium?
It’s fkn ‘Mercia as shit and a goddamn good time.
Never been to Nashville and don’t really see myself coming back anytime soon so pretty stoked on the way that went down.
And yeah. It was dumb of me to fall for her scam.

REK has been reduced to an opening act? What's this world coming to?

It didn’t seem very “reduced” to me. It was a packed house and he did the encore with TC standing in the background. He looked pretty stoked, the energy in that place was electric.
