    Cliff Jumping Technique

I have found that when you realize mid-air that you don’t have enough speed to clear a rocky landing, a frantic small-rotating arm flap with a bit of a desperate forward hip thrust lifts you magically, and just barely, past certain disaster. Anyone else find this to be true? I don’t have the guts to find out that doing nothing provides the same results, so please confirm my impersonation of a flopping fish on the bottom of an aluminum boat, while mid-air, is necessary, and thanks in advance.

Arm rotation has to be forward motion to work.

Little known, but if you are catching too much air, just exhale forcefully to reduce the flight by a few feet.

    Eyes Down!
    Hands Down!
    Punch!!!

But airborne wriggley-piggley does the trick.

If you are going to wreck, you may as well roll down the windows to enjoy the view.

at least you had Lassie with you to go for help.

I got some big air Monday. Groomer I was on ended with a 3 foot drop to another groomer, which I saw only at the last second. Landed it clean. I think my skis were actually in the air briefly, but I can't be sure.

That third Jerry is particularly hilarious. Obviously the guy trying to video it thought so.

    Lol. “Bart the Daredevil”

At one point, Lisa, upon discovering Bart’s plan to jump Springfield Gorge, arranges for Bart to meet Lance Murdoch, an Evel Knievel-like stuntman who’s in the hospital recovering from injuries he received in a failed stunt. Her hopes that Murdoch will talk Bart out of his plans upon hearing them are dashed when, from his hospital bed, he encourages Bart, saying something like: “oh! That’s great son! The industry doesn’t have enough young daredevils coming in to the craft! Go get ‘em!”
