1st generation Dynastar Protos, 189 length, got them off a mag last March and put 4-5 days on them. ‘’Race Room’’ construction, said to be the stiffest and dampest of the bunch. Great skis, the Blister review is pretty spot on. Selling because they have a different balance point than my other skis.

Mounting history: 1 mount on the line for Pivots for 306 BSL. I reused that toe mount and then put in two sets of heel mounts for 295 bsl — one for PX15 which were plugged, current mount for Pivots. 1 set of toe holes, 3 heel mounts, currently mounted with Pivot 14s for 295 BSL on the line.

Skis and bindings are in pretty good shape, one ding in the tail (pictured). Topsheets have a few decent-sized chips, bases have some scratches one of which could maybe use a little ptex (pictured), edges have some discoloration. Bases and edges would probably look pretty with a tune. Bindings have some pole scratching on the heels and normal scuffs from use.

Selling with the Pivot 14s for $300+ship. I have the PX15s too, guess we could work a deal for those on the cheap.














194 4FRNT Devastators Cir 2016 with Head Mojo 15s

Mounting history: Original mount on the line 325 BSL for Tyrolia attacks. Currently mounted -1cm for 295 BSL for Head Mojo 15s. These mounts have the same pattern, Both bindings have longer tracks.

The bases have 3 significant gouges from one stupid run that fortunately didn’t get into the core (pictures). 1 smaller, 1 longer and one that’s pretty big, all filled with ptex. Also a very small one near an edge. Rest of the bases are in good shape, edges have some discoloration, currently storage waxed besides where I scraped to show the big base scratches. Light top sheet scratching. Bindings in pretty good shape.

Thinking it makes sense to ship the skis flat and the bindings separately via medium flat rate box ($15ish), these things make for large dimensions when attached with bindings and put together at the bases.

Prefer to sell as a set. Located in Boston MA. Priority given established mags and posters that I know personally.

How do you feel like the balance point on the proto’s are different from your other skis?

They’re mounted ~3cm further behind where my other skis are mounted, and they have more sidecut than any of them. The Protos respond to a more ‘’traditional, directional’’ style than my other skis. The PisteJib/MVP/Hoji/Pows feel a lot more compatible with each other by comparison. I thought about mounting the Protos forward of the line but I don’t want to put more holes in the ski.
