So, The record label finally signed us up
And we're officially all over the interwebz. They listed us on beatport, which I guess is a big thing. And we get paid.
Thanks to pegleg for tweaking the contract they sent us and making sure we get paid and retain rights to our stuff.
So here's the beatport link and there's a soundcloud link for a free listen from the initial post I did.
This was only the fourth sing we did and now we'll release a bunch more.

Lame trance beat with murmurdered vocals
Sweet
PS, it’s not a “record label” if you don’t press vinyl. . .

Lol. I just had to say that cause you've come back to board as some kind of Tourettes-afflicted dickhead.
Glad to hear you're an EDM guru.

Yeah, it's leaning toward more deep house. Chris tags the listings with multiple styles cause he does a diverse mix.
I really like his Chicago Boat Party set at the bottom of those cuts.
Now we have a German label that wants some other stuff we did.
fkna.

Germans pulled out last minute. Dammit.
Actually, we have our buddy, John, who looks like a black Rastafarian, to play any gigs we might get offered.
He has a look we couldn't quite achieve, no matter how hard we'd try.

The coolest part of this one song Big Fun that got picked up is that I wrote the lyrics for that in a masters level creative writing class at the University of Idaho in March, 1975 and still have my notebook I wrote it in with the date on it.

Nice.
I sold a few songs back in the day. Most successful one had lyrics from a poem I wrote in the 3rd grade.

So the Germans circled back and picked up Expired Plates, then I rewrote the lyrics to San Francisco's Deep Sand just yesterday because I didn't like the way the words played out but absolutely love what Chris did on the beats - only to get an offer from a label in Spain for it before the lyrics even got changed. We've just been fuckin around but we seem to have created a niche for my words and Chris's music intersecting at a void that existed for beat poetry and techno/house that just might bring in some serial cashish at some point as we continue.

One groupie so far. Her name is Molly. heh.
So our new label has Pitbull, which I guess is good.
Here's a vid about the label that anyone who's spent time south of the border might appreciate for the Spanish TV ad sound it has.
