Some shots from Kicking Horse inbounds with good visibility, good snow and no people. Met the elusive Steve Crowe keeping terrain open and safe for us

Met up with Matt to check out some of the lift-served backcountry. Scored Canyon Creek laps then some off the Ozone front side.Attachment 313330Click image for larger version.

Can recommend Resposada Tacos, Whitetooth Brewery and if you can get early bird at 1122 Restaurant it's $23 for a 3 course meal!

    And some more inbounds

Lee if the eagle was able to leave the nest when the winds died down this afternoon- then tomorrow will be your day at the Horse. Most stuff didn't open, crowds dispersed early and quickly due to wind delays and the storm board went to 46 by 4pm. Good luck buddy!

We're kind of getting a good old fashioned Sentry Santorum Storm up here. Lots of food still but winds were 50 -70kmh with gusts of 130kmh. New snow 40cms or so.

Recap of Day 3 from earlier in the week. Siege then Rasta Pass alpine then Shield treesClick image for larger version.

I am assuming your perception of Golden is that it's sub-par and nobody should visit? Revy all the way?

Sorry, I wasn't able to meet up. I had Montazuma's revenge going on for 5 or 6 days. It was all time... worse sickness i've had in years. I hear you met my wife, Laura, at trivia night along with Andy B. Good to see you had some good snow and good times
