In AK, Super Bowl is the "unofficial" Stop Work at Lunch Day.
Started during the Pipeline days, probably 798ers [International Brotherhood of Tulsa Pipe Welders & Working Class Heroes].
Everybody working remote in Ak finds the nearest bar to drink and watch the game on Company time. Dry camps put out a nice spread. Everybody puts in a normal 12-hr day, on their time sheets.
